Charles Elliott Lyons

Charles Elliott Lyons, age 82, of Bethlehem, KY passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Bethlehem, Henry County, KY on February 7, 1941 to Willie Carroll and Hazel Marie Snider Lyons.  Mr. Lyons was a member of Eminence Baptist Church and retired in 1996 after 33 years with G.E. Appliance Park and was a lifetime farmer. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife; Marilyn Lee Brewer Lyons whom he married on April 28, 1962, three daughters; Jennifer Scott Barnett of LaGrange, KY, Rhonda Ann Lyons of Bethlehem, KY and Bonita G. Kelley and husband Tony of Bethlehem, KY, a son; Matthew Jackson and his wife Pam of Bethlehem, KY, three sisters; Maretta (Bill) Beach of Shelbyville, KY, Loretta (Jimmy) Woods of Eminence, KY, and Violet (David) Knoop of Elizabethtown, KY, three brothers; Paul (Betty) Lyons of Shelbyville, KY, William (Joyce) Lyons of Bethlehem, KY and Dwight Lyons of Pleasureville, KY, six grandchildren; Kacie Barnett, T.J. Kelley, Scott Barnett, Kayla Raisor, Haylee Cunningham and Elizabeth Jackson and five great grandchildren; Branden Moore, Tyeler Mitchell, Emmy Kelley, Matthew Cunningham and Jack Raisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, a half-brother; Carroll Lyons, Jr., three half-sisters; Anna Elizabeth Jordan, Jane LeCompte and Hazel Danner.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Pleasureville Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Duncan officiating.
