Charles Frederick Phillips

Charles Frederick Phillips, age 92 of the Defoe Community of Pleasureville, passed away September 11, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. He was born August 10, 1928 in St. Petersburg, FL to his parents, the late Philip Nash Phillips and Rosalyn Butt Davis Phillips.

Survivors include three nieces: Susan Shiralaw of Chaska, MN, Beth Middleton of Palm Harbor, FL, and Barbara Miles of Lexington, KY; and many friends.

He retired from General Electric in Louisville where he worked as a tow-motor operator. In addition, he was a U.S. Army Veteran where he served in Germany during World War II.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Defoe Cemetery. Rev. Carl Leslie Rucker will officiate. Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville is in charge of arrangements.
