Carla Louise Dees

Carla Louise Hedges Dees, age 56, of Eminence, KY passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1966, in Shelbyville, KY, the daughter of James Lawrence and Louise Avery Hedges who preceded her in death. Carla was a housewife, loved her family, crossword puzzles and Christmas movies.

She is survived by her husband; Curtis P. Dees, one daughter; Amanda Leigh Clark of, Shelbyville, KY, three sons; Greg D. (Melissa Flynn) Burke of Eminence, KY, Desmond A. (Chelsey Satterfield) Richardson of Shelbyville, KY, and Derek S. (Chrisana Clark) Burke of Pleasureville, KY, one step-son; Tyler P. Dees of Pleasureville, KY, three sisters; Crystal Neighbors of Bedford, IN, Lori Casey of Shelbyville, KY, and Lisa Shouse of Coxs Creek, KY, one brother; Tony Hedges of Frankfort, KY, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 11, 2023, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
