Billie Jean Ethington

Billie Jean Coakley Ethington, age 76, of Shelbyville, KY passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Crestview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shelbyville, KY.  She was born on August 16, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to the late William Donald and Betty Jane Armstrong Coakley.  Billie was a member of Pleasantview Methodist Church and retired from General Electric as an assembly line worker. 

Survivors include two daughters; Davida Jean Ethington (Luis Pineda) Rankin of Pleasureville, KY and Marla Gail Ethington (Chad Fox) of Pleasureville, KY, one son; David Wayne (Missy) Ethington of Smithfield, KY, four sisters; Teressa McKee of Frankfort, KY, Beverly Creasey of Shelbyville, KY, Roselyn Ethington of Shelbyville, KY and Patsy Brewer of Pleasureville, KY, six brothers; Bob Coakley of Colorado, Bill Coakley of Indianapolis, IN, Adam Coakley of Indianapolis, IN, William Coakley of Indianapolis, IN, Wayne Ethington of PLeasureville, KY and Eddie Ethington of Bethlehem, KY, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Oscar Ethington, a sister; Elizabeth Hunt and a granddaughter; Whitney Noel Rankin.
