Anthony "Tony" Glenn Broughton

Anthony Glenn “Tony” Broughton, age 66, of Pleasureville, KY passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at his residence.  He was born on October 14, 1956, in Louisville, KY to Robert Allen Broughton and Shirley Stewart Broughton.  Tony was a member of the Lockport Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Broughton’s Heating and Cooling, since 1984.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed attending auctions and collecting various things.  

His survivors include his wife; Patricia Fay Dunn Broughton (married 9/10/1994), one daughter; Tiffany (Justin) Dale Robinson Phillips of La Grange, KY, two sons; Sam Robinson of Eminence and Austin Broughton of Northern, KY, one sister; Lisa (Michael) Broughton Slavens of IA, four brothers; Rodney (Connie) Broughton of La Grange, KY, Doug (Donna) Broughton of Louisville, KY, Dale (Robin) Broughton of Eminence, KY and Billy Broughton of IN, and seven grandchildren; Eagan Carter, Cyleigh Broughton, Skylynn Broughton, James Phillips, Ben Broughton, Paisley Robinson and Myah Phillips.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Robert Corey Broughton (8/22/2018) and one brothers; Richard Allen Broughton.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Briscoe officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Cropper Cemetery. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Denny Cravens, Wirt Doane and John Adcock.  Pallbearers will be Sam Robinson, Justin Phillips, Charlie Dunn, Gabriel Hatchell, Randy Sharp and Johnathan Clark.
