Annie Mildred Johnson

Annie Mildred Walker Johnson, age 66, of Shelbyville, died Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was born February 6, 1950 in Gratz, and was the daughter of the late William and Millie Aldridge Walker. She worked in the Factory Furniture Industry, and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by two brothers: Earl Walker (Myrtle) of Eminence, and Jesse Walker of Cropper; two sisters: Sally Ann Walker of Bedford, and Betty Wells of Frankfort; a special friend of many years: Johnny Lefler of Eminence; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Johnson, and a daughter, Melinda Woods.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Services will be officiated by Bro. Bob Litton, pastor of Union Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of services on Tuesday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
