Anna Lou Mullins

Anna Lou Meriweather Mullins, age 93, of Cropper, KY passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at New Castle Health and Rehab Center.  She was born on March 16, 1930, in Lockport, KY, the daughter of Lee Bob and Vinnie Sutherland Meriweather. Anna was a member of Cropper Baptist Church and attended Crossroads Lighthouse Church. She was retired from the Brunswick Corporation and enjoyed cooking and traveling.

She is survived by one daughter; Sheila Davidson of Cropper, KY, one stepdaughter; Sheri Lanham of Johnstown, CO, one daughter-in-law; Betty R. Craig of Pleasureville, KY, two sons; Ronald W. (Mary) Craig of Shelbyville, KY and Allen L. (Kelly) Craig of Cropper, KY, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; Edgar Ray Mullins (2001), one son; Randall G. Craig, two sisters; Corine Gilbert and Christine Manley and one great grandchild; Jude Craig.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Shaw and Rev. Ed Berry officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery, Lockport, KY.

Honorary pallbearers will be Doyle Manley, Mark Manley, Tim Shibley, Gatton Jeffries, George Cannon, Gerald Manley, Mike Gilbert and Jon Hancock. Pallbearers will be Julie Bowles, Melissa Thompson, Stephanie Hancock, Jeremy Craig, Jason Craig and Eric Craig.
