Anna D. COOMBS, age 95 of Pleasureville, KY Anna D. Coombs, age 95 of Pleasureville died Friday, October 12, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was born in Campbellsburg, KY and was the daughter of the late William and Mamie Jane Crouch Lilly. She was a retired owner-operator of Coombs Variety Store in Pleasureville, and was a member of the Pleasureville Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons: William A. "Jr. Bill" Coombs, Jr. (Doris) of Richmond, VA, and Lonnie D. Coombs (Debbi) of Louisville; four grandchildren: Andrew Coombs (Kristina Stafford) of Columbia, SC, Kent Coombs (Jenny) of Columbus, IN, Nelson Coombs of Louisville, and Craig Coombs (Carrie) of Louisville; three great-grandchildren: Anna Rose Coombs , Micah Coombs and Eli Coombs; and two nieces: Billie Jane Jackson , and Beatrice Burkhart. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew Coombs, Sr., a sister, Wila Mae Norwood, and niece Joanna Leonard. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Pleasureville Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Monday October 15, 2012 at the Church. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville is in charge of arrangements.
