Angela Christopher Doss, age 78 of Lockport, KY Angela Christopher Doss, age 78 of Lockport, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Frankfort on May 10, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Estill Christopher and Helen Downey Christopher. She was a baby sitter and homemaker and a member of Gratz Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons: James Lee Doss (Carolyn) and David Wayne Doss, all of Lockport; four daughters: Shelby Smith (Danny) of Campbellsburg, Helen Kay Doss (Adam) of Lockport, Barbara Ann Doss Denning (Leonard) of Carrollton, and Anita Lucille Clark (Charlie) of Campbellsburg; one sister: Esther Reardon of Ashland; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ambrose Doss, a son, John Estill Doss, and a brother, Garnett Paul Christopher. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Louis Adams, pastor of Gratz Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 9 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, February, 22, 2013. Pallbearers will be Harold Aldridge, Adam Clark, Eddie Clark, Brandon Denning, Christopher Doss, and Aaron Wilson. Online condolences may be expressed at sholarfuneralhome.com.
