Agnes Booth Aldridge, age 89, of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Lockport, and was the daughter of the late Robert Elliott and Carrie Violet Aldridge Booth. She had worked as a health-care worker at Central State Hospital in Anchorage and was a member of the Crossroads Lighthouse Church. She is survived by one son: Wayne Carol Aldridge (Beverly) of Pleasureville; two daughters: Linda Payton and Janet Stivers, both of Pleasureville; one brother: David Booth (Nancy) of Shelbyville; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Emery K. Aldridge; a grandson: Stephen Kyle Aldridge; a great-grandchild: Grace Aldridge; and seven siblings: Corene McCann, Margaret McNees, Rosetta Cox, Hazel Snider, Lawrence Booth, Alvin Booth, and Jimmy Booth. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Crossroads Lighthouse Church in Eminence with Rev. Paul Harvey officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Interment will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robby Payton, Ralph Stivers, J.P. LaVertu, Michael Aldridge, John Broughton, and Troy Yount. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Cross Roads Lighthouse Church, Pleasureville Baptist Church Building Fund, or Hosparus.
